G401 forged eye & eye chain swivel is manufactured from drop forged carbon steel. It allows free rotation under load to prevent wire rope or chain twisting.
It is widely used as rigging connector for overhead lifting, machinery hoisting, trailer safety chain connection, marine lashing, agricultural equipment securing and outdoor cargo tie-down. Hot dipped galvanized finish provides good corrosion resistance for coastal and outdoor applications.
Straight axial pull is recommended. Avoid severe angular side loading.
